Here I am, ready for adoption! Are you ready for me? I hope so. Do you have a tennis ball? I hope so. I love to play catch.

I love meeting new people and will give them a friendly greeting. I love to be petted. I do worry when my foster dad is out of my sight, so I just follow him around!  I love to be with other dogs and I am soooo friendly.

And now, a few words from my foster dad:

Cooper is a lovely boy, very affectionate and friendly. He follows me around, so I know where he is at all times! He is a genetic mix of what is believed to be some terrier and perhaps Boston. He has eyes that just focus on you and wait for direction. He is a bright dog that would love to learn tricks, as the game of fetch and return is on the top of his ‘to do list’. 

He is learning that he is in a safe environment and that it is ok if I am out of his sight! Once his confidence builds and he feels secure, he won’t be as stressed being left. Cooper would be best with his family being home most of the time and having a fenced yard for play. Apartments or condos would not be suitable for him as he does complain when you are leaving. He may really enjoy a companion dog. Cooper is mostly house trained, but the cold weather has not been easy for him to deal with. He will also need continued guidance walking on leash. Overall this boy is a delightful, bright, focused dog that would make the day shine for anyone who is with him.
